Review this Google Map which shows the detailed routes assigned to our pack. A snapshot is also at the bottom of this page.
Use this Google Sheet to select your specific route.
Subscribe to our Scouting For Food WhatsApp group. We will use this group for coordination and to answer any questions.
Need door hangers? Text Yash (510-282-8527) or Madeleine (650-996-5870) to pick some up.
Here are the Scouting For Food slides that were presented at the October pack meeting.
A parent should accompany the Scout during this activity.
Scouts must wear their class A uniforms.
It is suggested that Scouts ring the doorbell when leaving door hangers. If the homeowner answers, your Scout should introduce themself, let them know they’re from Cub Scout Pack 508 of Saratoga, and that they would like to leave some information about donating food.
Skip apartment buildings (our routes shouldn’t contain any).
Stick to your route for both dropping off door hangers and picking up food.
Scouts are responsible for picking up food at any house where they leave a door hanger. If something happens where a Scout can’t pick up, please message the Scouting For Food WhatsApp group.
Don’t approach homes with “do not enter” or “no soliciting” signs.
Don't walk on people’s lawns or plants. Stay on the paths.
